Grown-ups
A new poetry collection, GROWN-UPS, offering tips and observations for people who are struggling to grow up, is now available online through Waterstones and Amazon.

After the Fire
Janet Olearski’s house, along with many others, was massively damaged in the Portuguese forest fires of October 2017. Encompassing a range of emotions, this collection of poems charts her coming to terms with the aftermath of the disaster, in an unfamiliar environment, in a new country and, later on, through Covid lockdowns. Here are her expressions of sorrow, solitude, regret, nostalgia, and acceptance, but also happiness, hope, and humour… after the fire.
In the Voice of Trees
The poem ‘Lost’ appears in In the Voice of Trees, an anthology featuring the work of 20 poets who strike up conversations with the trees of the Ogham tree calendar. The collection is edited by Jan Fortune and Adam Craig for the Cinnamon Press (2020).
And there are many more poems by Janet Olearski floating around in the ether.
